When I was three years old, my parents asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I told them that I wanted to help Google Play reward their most loyal members with money-can’t-buy experiences at 2024’s biggest events. That’s when I started seeing Dr. Molton. Well joke’s on you, Molton, because I finally got to live my dream. As creative director of a lean-but-mighty crew at AKQA LA, we worked hand-in-hand with the fine folks at Google to create a digital campaign to support incredible on-the-ground activations to promote the Google Play Points program. We partnered with major brands like Marvel, The Pokemon Company, and Grammy-winning DJ Zedd to incorporate IP against strict constraints and made some really fun videos, social content, and display banners.
